This lecture reviews the diagnosis of TB in the challenging circumstances of immunocompromised hosts. We will touch on the issue of HIV, but the main focus will be the use of diagnostics such as IGRA in patients commencing anti-TNF treatment or with other immunocompromising conditions, such as transplant patients.
